The edition featured a Mid-Century Modern inspired dream home rich in eco-friendly architecture and design. 

Designed in Ottawa.
Built in Niagara-On-The-Lake. 

For this ambitious project, the homeowners’ wanted to create a net-zero home that would be warm and welcoming. Another aspect was ensuring the home would be accessible in the years to come.  

Linda Chapman, owner of Linda Chapman Architecture in Ottawa, has been a long time advocate for green building. She is passionate about sharing her talent and expertise, and is the recipient of number energy efficiency, LEED & GOHBA awards. She continues to push boundaries in the world of design and materials technology. Linda designed this sustainable home. 

Aaron Hahn of Hahn Builders always says he was “born to build” and this project is proof he can tackle anything. While most residential builds come from an architect with four or five pages of blueprints, Linda supplied 43 detail-rich pages for this dream home!

We’ll let the article speak to all the incredible thought and features that went into this home. However, we are thrilled to report the beautiful flooring shown is our Logs End 7” x ¾” Engineered Select Rift & Quartersawn White Oak, Oiled in a Custom Colour. It was installed by the team at Pro Hardwood Flooring Niagara.
