This year’s Minto Dream Home, the Red Maple, is inspired by the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation and has been designed in a contemporary Canadiana theme, paying tribute to Canada’s rich heritage. Naturally, we felt this was the perfect home to showcase wood reclaimed from the Ottawa River.
“The front door opens to porcelain tile floor that looks like distressed wood then transitions to salvaged wood planks from Logs End, one of many local companies that took part in the project that raises millions for the children’s hospital.”
