Claire popped into the showroom last night to make sure the humidifiers were running. This is because any space with hardwood flooring, be it our showroom or in your home, should be neither too dry or too humid.
While engineered flooring is far more stable than solid hardwood flooring, it’s still best to keep the relative humidity in your home in the 35-60% range. If this is not possible, the use of a humidifier or dehumidifier to achieve the optional range is ideal.
