Regular readers of the Rustic Reader may recall that earlier this year, we welcomed CBC’s Still Standing host, Jonny Harris, to the Logs End showroom and mill. Jonny also did a show for the Bristol and Pontiac region community that was filled with fun and laughter.

Like all good things, including our river reclaimed hardwood flooring, the time has come to watch the footage. Yes, this includes a short with Logs End president and founder, Gord Black. Gord took Jonny on a tour of the Logs End facility, where he explained what goes salvaging the sunken timber from the Ottawa River.

Be sure to read all the details and then stream the entire episode on CBC Gem to meet some cuddly alpacas and see how true Canadian maple syrup gets harvested in Bristol, Québec.
