Logs End is pleased to announce that it will be attending the Spring Cottage Life Show March 25th 2011 – March 27th 2011 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

The much anticipated brand-new Ottawa Convention Centre will open in April 2011, and Logs End was selected as the perfect candidate to provide premium local, eco-friendly wood products to the green-conscious project.
The Ottawa Convention centre will now be home to an exquisite feature wall constructed of almost 17, 000 board feet of River Recovered Pine provided by Logs End. The River Recovered Pine will be suspended along the walls, spanning an astonishing five stories, and will be visible through the beautiful glass window facade. With wood that has been reclaimed from the Ottawa River, Logs End is proud to provide the products to construct an expansive piece of art that reflects the distinct charm of the Ottawa area.
In addition to showcasing local beauty, Logs End was also honoured to be chosen for a project that placed such a high value on using sustainable building materials. Logs End is excited and proud to be a primary contributor to a spectacular local project that values eco-friendly products, aesthetic appeal and unmatched quality.



The Logs End showroom will now be open Saturdays from 9:30 until 2:00pm effective Oct. 30. 2010.


Logs End recently recovered a rare cache of massive, hand-hewn white oak timbers, lost in a log run during the Napoleonic War era. Boasting rich colours and a vintage charm, this is the only known product of its type and history in the world today.

Today Logs End’s dive team stumbled across dozens of yellow birch and red oak beams all marked by lumber baron, founder of Eganville and the Pontiac’s first elected politician John Egan’s stamp. John Egan’s mill closed in 1854 so at the earliest these beams have been in the water for at least 155 years! These treasures continue what has been a great summer for Logs End.
